Assault & Drunk Driving – Albert ROSSI Arrested

 (SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Investigation results in charges for individual from Southwest Middlesex.

On May 11, 2025, at 4:01 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to an address on Thames Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, for the report of an after-the-fact assault between two individuals, resulting from a traffic complaint.

As a result of the investigation, police located an involved individual at a nearby residence, at which time they were placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP Detachment.

Albert ROSSI, a 38-year-old of Southwest Middlesex, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

  • Assault
  • Operation While Impaired – Alcohol
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on July 17, 2025.

Allen HURLEY Was Arrested

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Driver facing charges after traffic stop at OPP Ride Program.

On April 14, 2025, at 11:18 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were performing a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) Program on Longwoods Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.

A vehicle entered the RIDE Program at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Allen HURLEY, a 57-year-old of Glencoe has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Cannabis Control Act with:

·        Operation while impaired – Drugs

·        Driving while under suspension

·        Have care or control of vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on June 10, 2025.

Meth Bust – 4 Arrested

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Four individuals have been charged after search warrant executed in Glencoe.

On March 26, 2025, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Elgin-Middlesex County OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), Lambton OPP CSCU, OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU), and OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at an address on Ewen Avenue in Glencoe, Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.

CSCU members recovered multiple firearms, including a loaded shotgun, a bolt action rifle, three pellet guns, a replica Glock Pistol, a starter pistol and multiple rounds of ammunition.

Police also seized just over $3,000 worth of illicit drugs, suspected to be fentanyl, methamphetamine, hydromorphone and oxycodone.

Kimberly BAHRO, a 58-year-old of Glencoe, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Unauthorized Poss of a Firearm
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  • Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition
  • Poss of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking-Opioid (other than heroin)
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (other than heroin)

Ryan LEGARY, a 35-year-old of Glencoe, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Unauthorized Poss of a Firearm
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  • Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition
  • Poss of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

Ashley HAWLEY, a 34-year-old of Glencoe, has been charged under the Criminal Code and Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with:

  • Unauthorized Poss of a Firearm
  • Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
  • Careless storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited device or ammunition
  • Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine

The three accused were held for bail.

A fourth individual, a 47-year-old of London, has been charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act with Poss of a Schedule I Substance – Methamphetamine and has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on May 8, 2025.

Emily MCCLINTOCK Was Arrested – Details Released

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Driver facing impaired charge after traffic complaint in Southwest Middlesex.

On March 28, 2025, at 12:33 a.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), were dispatched to main Street in Glencoe, Southwest Middlesex, for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

The driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Emily MCCLINTOCK, a 31-year-old of Ingersoll, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on June 11, 2025.

Fatal Snowmobile Collision

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Middlesex County OPP investigating a snowmobile collision that sent two individuals to hospital in Southwest Middlesex.

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:47 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service (EMS), and Southwest Middlesex fire were dispatched to an address on Longwoods Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex for the report of a single snowmobile collision on private property.

As a result of the collision, the driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver, a 57-year-old of Southwest Middlesex, has since died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.

The passenger was also transported to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Members of the OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (TIME) team attended the scene to assist with the investigation.

The investigation is continuing.

Snowmobile Collision Sends 2 To Hospital

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Middlesex County OPP investigating a snowmobile collision that sent two individuals to hospital in Southwest Middlesex.

On Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 11:47 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex London Paramedic Service (EMS), and Southwest Middlesex fire were dispatched to an address on Longwoods Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex for the report of a single snowmobile collision on private property.

As a result of the collision, the driver was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

On January 25, 2025, at 10:47 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were dispatched to Longwoods Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, for the report of a possible impaired driver.

The vehicle was located at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

As a result, Linda CARRUTHERS a 71-year-old of Southwest Middlesex, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 31, 2025.

27 Year Old Arrested Following Collision

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Single vehicle collision leads to refusal charge.

On January 15, 2025, at 7:26 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Middlesex-London Paramedic Service, were dispatched to Irish Drive in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex, for the report of a single vehicle collision.

The driver of the vehicle and lone occupant was placed under arrest.

As a result, Brett TYRRELL-HATHAWAY a 27-year-old of Southwest Middlesex, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 20, 2025.

David JEDRIAK Facing Numerous Charges

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Driver facing multiple charges after traffic stop.

On December 14, 2024, at 1:55 a.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), while performing a traffic enforcement initiative on Longwoods Road in Southwest Middlesex, observed a vehicle travelling in excess of the 50km/h speed limit.  

The vehicle turned into an address on Haggerty Road, at which time a traffic stop was initiated.

It was determined the driver turned into the address in an effort to elude police.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, David JEDRIAK, a 58-year-old of Wardsville, has been charged under the Criminal Code, Highway Traffic Act and Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act with:

·      Operation while impaired – alcohol

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

·      Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code

·      Trespassing at Night

·      Speeding 1 – 49 Km/h over posted limit

·      Use plate not authorized for vehicle

·      Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle

·      Fail to surrender insurance card

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on March 4, 2025.

Kyle SYMONS Was Arrested

(SOUTHWEST MIDDLESEX, ON) – Driver charged as a result of a traffic stop in Southwest Middlesex.

On November 17, 2024, at 4:42 p.m., a member of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) performed a traffic stop on a vehicle travelling on Melbourne Road in the Municipality of Southwest Middlesex.

The driver was arrested and transported to the Middlesex OPP detachment.

As a result, Kyle SYMONS, a 31-year-old of Strathroy-Caradoc, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

·      Failure or refusal to comply with demand

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on January 16, 2025.
