Sexual Assault, Minor Injuries – Suspect At Large

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a report of a sexual assault in Kitchener.

On May 20, 2025, at approximately 2 a.m., a female was sexually assaulted at an establishment in the area of Queen Street South and Charles Street East.

The victim sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident.

The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a green shirt and pants.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Major Crime Unit.

Sexual Assault – Anthony ZLOT

(NORTHUMBERLAND, ON) – Members of the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual in relation to sexual offences in the Municipality of Port Hope.

The Northumberland OPP Crime Unit began the investigation on April 18, 2025, after receiving a report from a neighboring police service relating to alleged sexual offences. The victim was known to the accused.

On April 19, 2025, a search warrant was executed at a residence. The OPP Forensic Identification Services provided assistance with the investigation.

As a result, Anthony ZLOT, 59 years old from the Municipality of Port Hope, has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

–      Assault

–      Sexual interference

–      Sexual assault

–      Sexual exploitation

The accused was held for a bail hearing scheduled before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on April 19, 2025.

Exeter Sexual Assault Update – One Arrested

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested one individual in connection with a sexual assault that occurred in the Municipality of South Huron.

On April 25, 2025, the OPP launched an investigation after receiving information of a sexual assault that occurred on the McNaughton-Morrison Trail near the town of Exeter between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The OPP have identified and arrested one male in connection with this investigation. The name of the individual will not be released at this time as the investigation is still on-going.

Jennifer DEAN – Sexual Assault

(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have recently laid charges in relation to a sexual assault investigation. On May 2, 2024, the Wellington County OPP began an investigation into a report of a sexual offence that occurred between an employee and a young person at a community living residence on Irvine Street, Centre Wellington.    

As a result of the investigation, on April 9, 2025, Jennifer DEAN, 24 years old of Rockwood was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:

·        Sexual Interference

·        Sexual Exploitation

·        Sexual Assault

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario court of Justice in Guelph on May 13, 2025.

Sexual Assault – Charles NDEGWE Arrested

(CENTRE WELLINGTON TWP, ON) – The Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged an individual in relation to a sexual assault investigation in Fergus.

On September 13, 2024, members of the Wellington County Crime Unit launched an investigation after receiving information of a sexual assault in the Town of Fergus.

On March 6, 2025, the Wellington County OPP Crime Unit arrested and charged Charles NDEGWE, a 50-year-old of Fergus, with sexual assault.

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice – Guelph on April 11, 2025.

There is no statute of limitations on sexual offences and a report can be made to police at any time, regardless of how much time has passed. Sexual Assault Causing Bodily Harm – George SPADE Arrested

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – Members of the Thunder Bay Crime Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into an allegation of a sexual assault that occurred in Collins First Nation between 1978 and 1988.

As a result of this investigation, George SPADE, 61-years-old of Thunder Bay, Ontario was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code (CC) offences:

·       Gross Indecency

·       Indecent Assault on Female

·       Sexual Assault

·       Sexual Assault cause bodily harm

Break & Enter, Sexual Assault With Weapon

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a male after a break and enter and sexual assault with a weapon in Cambridge.

On March 11, 2025, at approximately 12:15 a.m., police responded to reports of a sexual assault at a business in the area of Eagle Street North and Hespeler Road.

An unknown male gained entry through a drive-thru window and sexually assaulted two employees who were in the business at the time. The male used a weapon during the altercation which resulted in the employees suffering minor non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers quickly responded to the location where the male was located and arrested.

The 32-year-old Cambridge male has been charged with multiple offences including sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, and break enter.

The male was held in police custody for a bail hearing.

Jeffrey BATTLE – Sexual Assault

In January of 2025, Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS) detectives assigned to the Sexual Assault Unit (SAU) began an investigation into a sexual assault that occurred in the City of St. Catharines.

Investigation revealed that a female and male met via an online dating app. 

As a result of the investigation, on Thursday, March 6, 2025, Jeffrey BATTLE (20 years) of St. Catharines, was arrested and charged with the following criminal offences:

–          Sexual Assault

–          Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke

Sexual Assault With Weapon – Brice PIYAU Arrested

(Ottawa) – The Ottawa Police Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit has charged a man following an investigation that began in October 2024.

Investigators believe that there may be other victims.

The accused approaches post-secondary international students with the ruse to help them with their immigration process.

Yesterday, Brice PIYAU, 47 years old from Ottawa, was arrested and charged with:

  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual assault with a weapon
  • Sexual assault with threats
  • Forcible confinement
  • Fraud under $5000

Anyone with information is asked to call the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5944. Tips may also be sent electronically to SACA@ottawapolice.ca.
